Class 4 Visit Forest School

 

Class 4's topic for the second half of the Autumn 2007 was 'Take a Book'.  The book studied was, Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson.  In this story the main characters Leslie and Jess make a tree house in their magical land - Terabithia. 

 

As part of the DT curriculum, the children were split into four groups and asked to design a shelter that would keep all of their group dry.  The children were then given the opportunity to construct these shelters at our Forest School site.
