Hi everyone!

Well what can i say about Whiteshill school... it is a great school! Nobody accept the teachers will know me as i left in 2004- Mrs Balfour is the funniest teacher alive... she really is. Back when i was a pupil she was the class 4 teacher. Now i am studying at Cirencester College, yet i will never forget my whiteshill experience. Thumbs up to everyone and keep up the great work

Will be happy to hear from anyone

Hi there!

I just happened upon your website and thought I would add a comment for old times sake! I had the most amazing time at this school ( 1981ish - 1984ish!!) With Mrs Rennison (Class 2) Mrs Slade (oh how she hated Enid Blyton! - Class 3) and Mr Cox (Class 4). Have many, many fond memories and Mrs Fry, though you didn't teach me (you taught my sisters and my brother) you haven't changed a bit!! I loved going on the grass at the back in the summer - it was always a treat! Funnily enough, I bumped into Mrs Samways in Weston last year which was nice!

Take care one and all and keep up the good work!! Lovely website!!

Best wishes

Nice to see that my first educational establishment is thriving, with modern technology and great ideas! I was a pupil from 1965 - 1969, (yes - I'm knocking on). Bill Barrett was the headmaster and I clearly remember being taught by Miss Watts, Mrs Timbrell and Mrs Tagg, also remember 'Fanny' Phelps driving her Austin A35. Every day we walked in a crocodile to the dining hall which I think was down at the Plain. Mrs Christmas was the lolly-pop lady, and a lady known only as 'auntie' kept us under control at play time. That's enough nostalgia for now, good luck and keep up the good work.

Hi guys!
I was just taking a look at your great website for old times sake. Samba night looked like a lot of fun! Whiteshill school has such a great community feeling, it is good to see that living on. It was funny seeing my old house in the background too! the views still look beautiful! We were very happy living in whiteshill, Jasmine and Ella had a great start in their education there. It was nice to see pictures of more children clearly having a great time!
Since we left 4 yrs ago, we have moved yet again and now live in Pennsylvania USA, which is also very pretty.
Hi by the way to all our old friends!

Special thanks to Mrs Fry - a great teacher and mentor. Also a special hello to all of the Year 5's and 6's (formerly Year 4 and 5) who I taught last year - hope you are all well and being good for your new teachers! Miss you all!
Take Care!

Just me again forgot to say a special thankyou to mrs balfour and I have to warn u if you play up for her then I will have to fly over there and kick all your butts coz she is da best teacher you will come across for an awfully long time! She taught me to love myself and work hard because you will get rewarded in the end. Even if you have (.....................) amount of work to do in (....) this amount of time you must try and you will succeed another 1 of mrs sayings. I think she would also like to know that today I acheived 2 levels higher than every other person in year 8 in science and I believe it is down to her fantastic booster sessions and her rule: the something the something the (more or less or faster etc ) the something the something is. I hope you know what I mean miss oooops I meen mrs. I also got into the hockey squad last week and the soccer squad the week before! Your fabulous sports lessons is what I owe it to. I am also great at lecross and I think thats tied in with hockey as well. Right I have turned into mrs fry coz I keep rambling on so I better go love love love bye! ps soz bout spelling and punc i am in a rush i am trying to write my hypothesis homework as well. pps say hi to cameron and zoe 4 me.

G' day,
I left this school in july 2004 and I am now living in Perth West Australia. I would like to say HI to all my teachers and friends. The school I go to now has 700 kids, very different to Whiteshill. Every day we have to have 20 mins exercise ( running around track) before we start work! But at least the sun is shineing and there isn't the Whiteshill wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, on chancing upon your website, from Bronwyn Collier's proud dad. Bronwyn was a pupil at Whiteshill Primary School from 1989-1993.

We are now living in Canberra, Australia, and Bronwyn is currently in her second year at the University of Canberra taking a double degree in Arts and Law.

Mrs. Fry is the only name I recognise from your staff list, so a special hello to her and thank you!

With best wishes.

I was a pupil at whiteshill in the early fifties, for some reason the name popped into my head and i decided to look it up on the web. What a lovely website. I live in Western Australia now and my schooldays are a distant memory, but it's nice to know that the place where you started on the path of your life is still there, regards Geoff Dunstone
