Whiteshill School

Whiteshill School

Welcome to Class 2

We try to ensure an easy transition for children leaving Reception going into Key Stage 1.    We also ensure those children moving up to Key Stage 2 have the necessary skills to settle quickly and to meet the new challenges of the Juniors.

Teaching and Learning

In Class 2 we continue to learn in an exciting and stimulating environment with a very hands-on approach to learning. There are many opportunities for outside learning, including our weekly forest school trip which helps extend and consolidate lessons taught in the classroom. The supportive environment we create in Class 2, allows children to confidently take risks in their learning and to enjoy new challenges.
